The year is 1989, and you have three 4WD French sports saloons to choose from.

DD, Track & Burn. Go!

Kinja'd!!!

The Citroën BX GTi 16v 4x4, 160BHP 1.9 I4.

Kinja'd!!!

The Renault 21 Turbo Quadra, 173BHP 2.0 I4.

Kinja'd!!!

The Peugeot 405 Mi16, 160BHP 1.9 I4.

The Citroën has its trademark hydropnuematic suspension, the Renault has the most power and the Peugeot has plenty of rally heritage. All of them are worthy options, you choose.

Special thanks to Spridget for giving me the idea to do a DD, Track & Burn on French cars.~

Burn them all, collect the insurance money, and get a Honda Prelude.

DD the Citroën

Track the Peugeot

Burn the Renault.

Having said that, the parts needed to power the rear wheels on the PSA cars are weak and made of unobtanium. I’d convert them to FWD and be happy with either. I don’t care much for that Renault.

Having experience with an 80s Prelude, the BX and the (replacement of the) 405, I prefer the French cars. Added bonus is that, unlike the Honda, they won’t turn into brown powder that easily.

You can burn the Renault.

This is a solution I can live with. How did you know? Did my avatar give me away?

DD: BX

Track: Mi16

Burn: the Renault....

Do I need to hand in my Renault keys for choosing this? I only like the 21 as a big wallowy Nevada.

I remembered the GTi Turbo 2 when you mentioned fast FWD French cars - your avatar was just the icing on the cake.

DD Citroen, hydros for a comfy cruiser.

Track Pug, the MI16 was pretty mighty in its day.

Burn the damned Eagle Medallion. (although the clean lines on it are somewhat of a guilty pleasure, can I just park it and look at it instead?)
